  Nevada Commission for National and Community Service's (NCNCS) mission is to strengthen Nevada through AmeriCorps and volunteerism. As a 501(c)3 organization since 1998 and the Governor's commission, NCNCS administers 7 AmeriCorps grants statewide. Over the past 9 years, more than 1,200 AmeriCorps members have served over 988,00 hours at 13 programs in Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno, Carson City, Incline Village and Elko. AmeriCorps provides innovative national service opportunities to people of all ages to meet local needs. The Commission manages more than $1.5 million in federal funding annually while returning more than $17 in services for every $1 in state funding. NCNCS promotes volunteerism, trains organizations to utilize volunteers more effectively, sponsors community service projects and recognizes outstanding volunteers and businesses for their service through the annual Governor's Points of Light Awards.

  The Emporium's address to 5220 W. Charleston Blvd. just west of Decatur. You can shop or make donations during regular business hours 10am to 6pm Monday - Friday, and 10am to 5pm Saturday. The store is closed on Sundays. You can also schedule to have your donations picked up from your home by calling 702-457-4677 ext. 1 and our friendly staff will assist you in finding the best time to make your pick up. The Emporium is always ready to accept large donations of commercially used furniture from your company.
